I hold a BA Hons degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and also a BA Hons Degree in Psychology. I also hold a Professional Certificate in Mindfulness. I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I am an accredited member of The Irish Association of Counselling Psychotherapists (IACP).
I offer a safe, supportive space, which is confidential, accepting and free from judgment. I meet clients where they are at on their journey and work collaboratively to best fit their unique needs, so as to enable them to feel heard and understood. As an integrative therapist, I draw on insights and tools from various theories including humanistic, choice theory, as well as existential and psychodynamic psychology.
To me the relationship between client and therapist is fundament to all therapy, and I believe in forming a close authentic relationship with the client from the outset. I feel privileged that people trust me to accompany them on their therapeutic journey and share their innermost world with me.
I work with adults of all ages on matters such as (but not limited to): addiction, anxiety, bereavement/grief/loss, depression, lack of confidence, loneliness/isolation, low self-esteem, relationships, social anxiety, suicidal ideation, unemployment /redundancy and feelings of worthlessness.
